A rate should reflect a real assessment

The rate and fees depend on the lender, the loan structure, the term, security and the business’s financial position. No lender-approved rate range has been supplied for this website, so we do not advertise one.

Ask for an itemised proposal before deciding. Finance is not necessarily cheaper than an ATO payment plan, and a lower monthly repayment may mean paying more over a longer term.

Ask for the complete cost

For a meaningful comparison, include every compulsory cost and use the same starting debt and realistic payment timing.

  • Interest rate and whether it is fixed or variable.
  • Establishment, ongoing and broker fees, if applicable.
  • Valuation, documentation and legal costs.
  • Default charges and early repayment conditions.
  • Total amount repayable across the full term.

Understand how the adviser is paid

Ask whether the adviser receives a lender commission and whether any fee is payable by you. The fees and commissions applicable to a specific proposal must be disclosed before you commit.

Your initial conversation with our team is an opportunity to ask how your broker is paid and what, if anything, you would be charged. Get the full fee terms in writing before proceeding.
